Order your huckleberry finn paper at affordable prices with !The novel Huckleberry Finn is a very well crafted book.It has many lessons to be learned.Throughout this book we learn about slavery, racism in Twains time, the value of money, and how education matures the young Huck.I believe that this novel was very well written and was an overall fun book to read.Though it is good, you must come to understand racism, education and money.

In this novel Racism and slavery are a main issue.I do not believe slavery is right. The story of Huckleberry Finn shows several point of views of this, that Mark Twain chose to write about, a system that in his time no longer existed. Why would he do this?I view this as a representation on the condition of blacks in the United States even after the abolition of slavery. The black slave Jim, who Twain wrote to be a very moral person, was put into the hands of a white man. This makes the 'white' degraded in the novel. No matter how you view this, racism is a system that is immoral.Slavery then was hard to justify in Twain's time.Twain himself proves this when the white boy Huck is in turmoil over "going to hell."He is caught up in slavery's downfalls. He has helped a black slave, for this he is going to hell.I believe Twain wrote a controversy book.Slavery is a and can be a touchy subject but it is well written and gets a general point across.

Saying your racist is one thing.Knowing where you stand and why is another thing. If you look at Hucks education he fits the norm as someone who learns and develops. The young Huck who could be considered an outcast refuses to learn, but his growing relations with Jim mature the young boy quickly. In the beginning Huck is skeptical about learning; biblical and educational.Throughout this novel Huck comes to his own conclusions. He learns to read. Not only reading books, but also the people around him.He learns to read situations in a manner that proves helpful. This is contrasted very much to Tom Sawyer. As education is just as much a theme as racism, money seems to be pointed out many times by Twain.

Forty dollars comes up several times. In one instance a black boy, Jim, is sold for "forty dirty dollars." In another, a white trash male who is supposedly Hucks father is given forty dollars for being sick. What does this say about the value of a dollar?I don't believe this coincidence was an accident.Twain purposely put this in the book. Also Tom Sawyer gave Huck forty dollars to work towards helping Jim.Does this show that the forty dollars to help Jim should cancel out the forty dollars that Jim was sold for?To me, the money is senseless.Everyone should have kept their money and Jim could have kept his freedom.Twain's interpretation of money again proves slavery wrong.

Twain wrote a great novel. It is full of friendship, and hardship. As racism fills this novel with sin, watching a young boy mature and find solid ground with his own decisions cleanses that.He learns to love and be strong. The middleman Jim also matures. As money evolves throughout the story, Huck learns the value of a dollar.I think everyone including the readers of the novel come to a sensuous of dollar value. This heart filled novel would be a good choice for those looking for adventure.
